Cookie Policy.
Most B2B sites load 30+ tracking cookies on the first page-view. We don't. maxicomglobal.com/in uses the minimum necessary cookies to make your visit work, and nothing else. This policy lists every cookie used, its purpose, retention, and how to opt out.
Strictly necessary cookies.
- ♦ form_session — anonymous, first-party, session-only. Stored only while your /sell-to-us/, /service-request/ or /buy-from-us/ multi-stage RFQ is in progress, so step 4 doesn't lose what you typed in step 1. Auto-cleared when you close the browser tab. DPDPA 2023 exempt under "strictly necessary for service requested".
- ♦ fab_dismissed — anonymous, first-party, session-only. Set if you click the × on the floating quick-contact strip; tells the site not to re-show it during the same session.
Things you'd expect to find but won't.
We do not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, HubSpot tracking, Hotjar, FullStory, Mixpanel, or any third-party advertising or behavioural-analytics SDK by default. The page you're reading right now sends no information to any third-party server during your visit.
We do not use fingerprinting, session-replay, cross-domain tracking or any technique that would be category-3 or category-4 under the DPDPA 2023's notification best-practices guidance.
How a future change would be handled.
If we ever decide we need page-view analytics (eg to understand which buyback pages convert better), we'll choose a privacy-respecting platform (Plausible, Fathom, or self-hosted Matomo with anonymised IPs), update this page first, show a one-time consent banner on the homepage, and only set the analytics cookie after explicit click-through consent. We will not use a soft-opt-in pattern.
Browser-level controls.
If you'd prefer to use the site with no cookies at all, you can: enable "block all cookies" in your browser (the multi-step forms will fail to retain between steps but the rest of the site works), or use private / incognito mode (cookies clear when you close the window). If you've already filled a form, you can clear our cookies via Settings → Privacy → "clear data for this site".
Maxicom India — frequently asked
Do you use Google Analytics?
Not as of this version of the site. If we add page-view analytics in future, we'll choose a privacy-respecting platform, request explicit consent, and update this page first.
Will I see a cookie banner?
Not today, because we don't set any cookies that require consent. If we ever add tracking, you will see a banner.
